A Christmas Carol at the Camden Opera House
Generosity, merry wishes and forgiveness, all part of the holiday spirit, unless… you are Ebenezer Scrooge. But wait! Perhaps there is hope for even one of the most wretched and miserly characters of all time. Join Scrooge on his transformative journey in as lively a performance as you’ve ever encountered, in John E. Bielenberg’s production of A Christmas Carol.
Charles Dicken’s timeless tale opens Friday evening, December 9th at the Camden Opera House, with subsequent performances on December 10, 16 and 17th at 7 p.m. and a matinee on Sunday, December 18 at 2 p.m.
Producer and director John Bielenberg is reprising his adaptation in support of Everyman Repertory Theatre for Midcoast audiences. Playing to sold-out houses last year for the Belfast Maskers, the Camden Opera House venue will afford an opportunity for more families to share this charming and musically delightful version.
Tickets are available through the Everyman Repertory Theatre website: www.everymanrep.org, the Owl and Turtle Book Shop and Harbor Audio Video II in Camden, The Reading Corner in Rockland and BellaBooks in Belfast. FMI you can call 207-236-0173. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $10 for students. It is not recommended for children under 6 years old.
