Every Three Seconds – a documentary

From  The Reverend Timothy A. Boggs, Rector, St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, Cape Elizabeth, ME –

A gifted, award-winning filmmaker friend, Dan Karslake, has directed and produced a new documentary film  Every Three Seconds.

He tells the amazing stories of five ordinary people, young and old, who have taken on the challenge of fighting hunger and poverty, each in their own small way.  I have been delighted to be a small part of this project, offering Dan fundraising support as well as critique and encouragement along the way.

Dan’s earlier film for the Bible tells me so, premiered at the Sundance Festival, was short listed for an Oscar, and won many prizes and audiences.

Members of your parish are invited to the New England Premiere of Every Three Seconds at the Portland Museum of Art on Saturday evening October 11th.

St. Alban’s and the Maine Council of Churches are your hosts. The filmmaker and a noted expert from the film will join us for conversation after the film.
