Come see what you’ve done!
Two months ago we set out to collect 100 books that six Belfast-area elementary schools wanted for their libraries as a way to celebrate St. Margaret’s Centennial Year. You did it! The books will be on display for this Sunday’s coffee hour only. Each bears a special bookplate from St. Margaret’s that Chris Urick designed, using the rampant lion motif that Maud Gammans had on her personal bookplates, now saved at the Belfast Free Library. Thank you, each and every one, for chasing down the requested books and making this such a happy reflection of St. Margaret’s community spirit. An additional note of appreciation is due our friends at Left Bank Books, whose generosity and patience contributed immensely to our success.
Come to coffee hour and see what you’ve accomplished. Just . . . please don’t spill!
