A Mexican Fiesta!

Think tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, guacamole! The next Global Cuisine Potluck, on Saturday, May 9, will provide a feast of Mexican food.

Don’t look for recipes on the Time and Talent Table this time. They are too easy to find elsewhere. You  might try the Food Network website where you will quickly see “The Top Cinco De Mayo recipes.” Just click here: http://www.foodnetwork.com/topics/cinco-de-mayo.html. The recipes sound great: Horchata (which the authors describe as “rice sweet milk with cinnamon and vanilla”), coconut lime black beans, churros with coconut sauce, chicken mole, flan. At food.com  (http://www.food.com/slideshow/mexican-party-food-recipes-97) you can find “15 Mexican Classics” – Burritos, enchiladas, tortilla soup, corn and black bean quesadillas and more. Steak fajitas might be a good choice. Or maybe Baja fish tacos. Both recipes are provided.

Any dish is welcome, of course, Mexican or not.  Just remember to come a bit early if you need to reheat or assemble your offering. Dinner will be at 6.

Several trays and storage containers are on the kitchen counter.
Please check to see if one belongs to you.
