Adult Ed Series on Trinity: The Soul of Creation
Please join us for our planned Adult Education series on Trinity: The Soul of Creation.
As we learn from our early church founders in Acts 2:42, undergirding any healthy church family are four biblical essentials: teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. We look forward to participating in each with all who are committed to the continuing health of our church family and our own souls. We invite you to join us following the Sunday services for the exciting, thought-provoking videos and discussion which will result.
We plan to serve simple soup lunches (italicized dates, below):
The first two videos run 90 minutes each (January 28, February 4), so we’ll have soup lunches these two days.
The next six run around 55-65 minutes, give or take a couple of minutes. We will be away February 11, March 11, and April 8. President’s Day weekend is February 18, so we plan sessions 3 and 4 on February 25 and March 4, with sessions 5 and 6 on March 18 and 25 (Palm Sunday). We’ll hold sessions 7 and 8 (our final session and soup lunch) on April 15 and April 22, following the 10:15 a.m service. Because the 9th and final video runs about 26 minutes, we will combine it with the eighth into the third 90-minute session.
As a very special “bonus”, we plan at the end of the series to schedule and show the movie The Shack as a final offering. It runs just under 2¼ hours, but is well worth the time! We’ll show the movie a date and time agreed upon by the group!
